  2. Story Time

    Come to Story Time – a fun early literacy program for kids 5 and under. Join us for interactive stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts. The early literacy practices featured each week help build the foundation for a lifelong love of reading and learning. For parents and caregivers, story time offers an opportunity to experience early literacy practices in action, discover great books and resources for home use, and socialize with other parents after Story Time. Wednesday and Friday sessions share a theme with something new each week. Sign-up is not required. Story times are held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:45 a.m.

  3. First Friday Book Club

    “Sometimes the trail you leave behind you is more important than the path ahead of you.” Barbara O’Connor’s novel How to Steal a Dog discusses doing the wrong thing for the right reasons and the struggle one family faces during adversity. The First Friday Book Club will be discussing How to Steal a Dog at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6 at the Huntsville Public Library.   4. Midday Movie Matinee

    July 6, 2018, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Community Room

    Join your friends and neighbors for a Midday Movie Matinee at the Huntsville Public Library. Screenings of American classic movies will be shown on the first Fridays of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Midday Movie Matinee will be followed by Family Movie Night at 5:30 p.m. Complimentary popcorn will be served at both events and attendees may bring non-alcoholic drinks in non-spill containers. If attending Family Movie Night, don’t forget your pillows and blankets.
